Junior football is dedicated to the next level of the footballing pathway.
Research has identified that the golden age of learning & development is between the ages of 8 and 13 years. So with that in mind, we concentrate on providing a Junior Framework that is a consistent and coordinated approach to the development of junior players. Its main aim is to provide all junior players with Football experiences that increase passion for the game. Through the Junior Framework players will experience age appropriate games and coaching. The focus is on fun.

Membership Fees
Note-We expect TCC field charges to quadruple within the next 12 months and expect facility charges to increase 8 fold. Membership fees currently only cover 35% of costs. The balance of money is recived through sponsorship, funding and programmes the club runs such as tournements, holidays programmes, 5 a side, merchandise sales etc.
Players have 2 options when registering to play, these are:
A - selecting the full payment option or
B - selecting time payment (players will select the inital time payment fee and the club book keeper will then re occur this invoice in our accounting programme (Xero) a further 2 times. Time payment option incurs an administration fee. Full fees upfront are $180. Time payment is $66 and will be reoccured 2 further times.
The club does its best to try and keep teams together as players age but it must be noted that
Papamoa FC has a number of commercial relationsships. One of those relationships is with Legends Sportswear. Only approved Legnds playing kit is to be worn in approved club colurs with club logo. For Minimoa/Junior and Youth these are yellow playing jersey, blue shorts and blue socks. No other colurs or kit/merchandise can be considered as this may put us in breach of our commercial agreement.
Papamoa FC is a club of teams, not individual teams within a club.
Playing Boots/Shoes and Shinpads
To participate in the season all players must playing in moulded boots and use and Shinpads.
Team Sponsorship
Each individual team is able to have individual team sponsorship. Individual team sponsorships must have an agreed and signed commercial agreement(signed by an exec member of the club board). Team sponsorship must not conflict with club sponsorship arrangements. Must like a business arrangement we need to be careful that individual team sponsorships do not conflict with the agreed Commercial Terms of our existing club sponsors. This could have enormous ramifications for the club. Teams breaching this may have to be removed from competition. Team sponsorship must be confirmed before the first kick of the teams league starting.
Teams will train once a week, usually between Monday to Thursday. Training factors will be dependant on coach and pitch availability. Players may be required to travel to other clubs in the Western Bay of Plenty area but the vast majority of games are played locally (Te Puke, Mount Maunganui, Waipuna, Greerton and Otumoetai). Games are on Saturday mornings and tend to be played starting somewhere between 8.30 and 12am.

New U13 Girls League 2026
We're introducing new U13 Girls Leagues in 2026. These combined 12th/13th Grade competitions roughly align with years 7 & 8 (intermediate school), better aligning with friend groups.
Why? This aligns with the Whole of Football 2.0 changes, which have shifted age bands and playing formats up by one year. In areas where dual age bands are used, this now means leagues will be U9, U11, U13 (instead of the old U8, U10 and U12).
