Papamoa FC has a number of club policies in force, as well as our new constitution, which complies with the 2022 incorporated societies act. Details on the act can be found Here.
To enable the act to be in place, members are elected on to the Club Board to support the operations of the club, including staff allocations, financial management, disputes resolution and supporting our volunteers with club run events, such as matchdays and tournaments. The board must avoid any conflict of interest scenarios, which results in adhering to Tier 3 financial reporting and invariably dictates goverance over active involvement.
Board members are limited in ther ability to hold other membership types. A board member can hold only 1 additional membership category (player/coach/manager) whilst holding a board membership.
