Why Fridays?

Due to the year on year growth of the club, and with an expected membership of 900 players we do not have the field space or carparking to play our minimoa programme at the same time as Junior football. The programmes also utilizes the same space and equipment and with the lack of sufficient storage the club could not operate either programme efficiently.

4:10pm - 5pm

Players turning 7 Years  in 2026 will run at:

Length of sessions

Players turning 4 to 6 will run 50 minutes.

Club Store and Approved Club Colours

Papamoa FC has a number of commercial relationships. One of those relationships is with Legends Sportswear. Only approved Legnds playing kit is to be worn in approved club colurs with club logo. For Minimoa/Junior and Youth these are yellow playing jersey, blue shorts and blue socks.  No other colurs or kit/merchandise can be considered as this may put us in breach of our commercial agreement.

Playing Boots/Shoes and Shinpads

Players can choose whether to use plastic moulded boots or sandshoes but must play in shin pads.

MemberShip Fees

Note-We expect TCC field charges to quadruple within the next 12 months and expect facility charges to increase 8 fold. Membership fees currently only cover 35% of costs. The balance of money is recived through sponsorship, funding and programmes the club runs such as tournements, holidays programmes, 5 a side, merchandise sales etc. Positiovely cost reduction can be offset but requires significantly more volunteers.

Players have 2 options when registering to play, these are:

A - selecting the full payment option or

B - selecting time payment (players will select the inital time payment fee and the club book keeper will then re occur this invoice in our accounting programme (Xero) a further 2 times. Time payment option incurs an administration fee. Full fees upfront are $160. Time payment is $60 and will be reoccured 2 further times.

Payment of registration fees does not dictate playing membership. Under the 2022 Incorporated Act and until such time as 20 days have passed after full payment has been received will a player be a general member. The board has complete discretion to accept or refuse a membership application, and that decision will be final.
