2027 will be our third year implementing standardised Facility and Field Charging that was enforced on to all sporting codes by Tauranga City Council.
Council owned facilities that are leased by clubs are now charged at a standardised rates and are under further review. In addition to this.
This also sees all clubs having to hold certain kinds and levels of insurance and be responsible for any land rates, power, internet, cleaning, pollution and continued maintainence and any repair sto the leased acilities. The bigger the building, the more one needs to recover.
There is plenty happening behind the scenes at Papamoa Football Club, and we're excited to share an update on two major projects that will benefit all our members for years to come.
Construction of our new car park is complete.
The additional parking will provide a much-improved experience for players, families, volunteers, and visitors, helping to ease congestion on busy football days and making access to the club safer and more convenient.
We are also delighted to announce that consent for our new clubrooms has now been approved and construction is currently underway with completion targeted for April 2027.
The new clubrooms will provide a modern, welcoming hub for our football community, creating a fantastic space for players, coaches, volunteers, supporters, and families to come together both on and off the field.
These projects represent a major investment in the future of Papamoa Football Club and reflect the continued growth and success of our club. We look forward to sharing further updates as work progresses and can't wait to see these exciting developments become a reality.
Thank you to all our members, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters for being part of this journey. There is plenty to look forward to as we continue building an even stronger future for Papamoa Football Club.
