Registrations FOR YOUTH are open and will cut off late March. Any registrations after this date will be considered if spaces are still available in that relevant grade.
The 2025 season will begin at the end of April or start of May and fixtures will be available once teams have been registered during April.
For 2026 Papamoa FC will hold trials for an U15 team and an U19 team to be played in the Waibop Youth Leagues. Dates for this will be announced in due course. Further information can be obtained by emailing jonny@papamoafootballclub.co.nz.
Players have 2 options when registering to play, these are
Upfron payment is $170, time payment is $61 then reocurred 2 further times.
Should players who register and later choose not to participate then a refund of full fees paid less a $10 admin fee will apply.
Should players who register and who have subsequently been allocated to a team are able to be issued a club refund of fees paid to date less a $25 admin fee.
A full credit of fees paid to date can be loaded against the players profile in lieu and this is the clubs preference.
It is a time consuming process to refund via bank transfer and providing a credit to the profile is an easier and simplier solution. Due to us being a not for profit and under the new incorporated societies act it is a 4 person process to refund via bank transfer.
Players wll be allocated into teams noting 2 seperate age bands. players turning 14 and 15 will be grouped together in an U15 League where players aged between 16 and 19(Called Baywide Youth) will be grouped together in other teams(s)
Outside of teams that are trialled - the club does its best to try and keep players together but it must be noted that
* as players age and teams get larger and move on to larger fields being 5 a side, 7 a side, 9 a side and to 11 a side then teams must change.
* some players do not continue and
* new players to the club must be accommodated
* players registering later are harder to accomodate to existing teams as allocation of teams does begin as registrations come through. It is more likely you will have a larger group of previous players in a team if you register early.
To participate all players must have Club shirt, socks and shorts (Parents are responsible for purchasing the club kit) and Shinpads. Details on how to purchase club kit can be FOUND HERE . NOTE-PLAYERS IN THE BAYWIDE YOUTH LEAGUES WILL BE ABLE TO USE OLDER SENIOR KITS THE CLUB HOLDS IN STOCK
Teams will train once a week between Monday to Thursday and will be dependent on coach and pitch availability. Players will be required to travel to other clubs in the Western Bay of Plenty area (eg: Papamoa, Mount, Te Puke, Greerton, Otumoetai, Welcome Bay, Katikati, Rotorua for games on Saturday mornings.
The grades for girls are selected by the year they are born which is denoted in (brackets).
